Ryan Bruan: The man, The myth, The... Liar

On August 19th, 2015 Ryan Braun broke Robin Yount's all time record for homeruns as a Brewer. The crowd reacted well and cheered the Brewer star, but this record is tainted. In 2013, Braun was accused of using performance enhancing drugs. Braun denied this allegations, even to the point of going on national TV and claiming innocence. Braun eventually admitted to using performance enhancing drugs and would have to serve a 65 game suspension. Braun had to return to national TV and formally apologize to the baseball world. Braun has since become a quiet star for the Brewers, returning late in 2014. He has made strides to repair his relationship with the Milwaukee people, including donating money to several major charities. He is still the extremely versatile player, and was even voted to the 2015 National League All-Star team. Braun had no reason to lie about what he did. The only thing it did was make things worse for himself. I personally believe that if Braun would have been honest, he may have gotten suspended, but he wouldn't have felt the let down of the fans. That's where lying can get you, no where and with tons of disappointment to follow you.
